GOLD COAST OLD BOYS MINI-CARNIVAL 2010
Friday 12th - Sunday 14th March 2010
  • A flexible & fun weekend for all teams and players attending;
  • The competition caters for clubs / players from all different standards/fitness levels;
  • Most old boys/Super Rules clubs from the Eastern states have been invited;
  • Individual and small groups of players can be fitted into combined teams, etc.
    If you think your club as a whole will be interested, or if you think some individuals or a small group from your club might be keen, (we can combine them with another team)
    or even if you just happen to be in the Gold Coast that weekend...

    Date:Friday 12th - Sunday 14th March 2010
    Game Format:
  • Two 10 or 15 minute halves (depending on teams & fitness levels)
  • (to be confirmed) Two grounds with 2 divisions, possibly 3, graded on skill. Dependent on teams numbers, competition should be completed in the one day (Saturday) with the day culminating in the Grand Final (possibly under lights).
  • After the Final, an official function will be organised at a local bar/restaurant.
  • BBQs & drinks will be available all throughout the day.
  • Transportation can be provided to and from hotels to playing venues.
    • Trip Itinerary/Costings:
  • As a rough guide we will be aiming to put the following package together for approx $200-250 (hopefully closer to $200)
  • Two nights accommodation
  • Transfers (from airports & also on game day)
  • Discounts at pubs/restaraunts, etc (possibility of a meal and some complimentary drinks as part of that package)
